My check this week is $1600 after taxes. I’m a solo driver with about 5-6 months of experience all together. It started off as $600/week while I was in training. My training lasted several months (bad company) and then I eventually left and went somewhere else. As a solo driver, my checks started at $600 and gradually worked up to $1600 over the 4 weeks that I’ve been here. I’m actually really happy about this. I know it’s not much compared to what some people make trucking. But I have no bills, no rent, no kids, no serious financial obligations so I’m ok with gaining experience and then looking to increase pay in the future.
Edit: it’s clear that anything regarding pay in this group is bound to cause some sort of discrepancy. I lucked up and found a company that I like.
