I like going to the Mom and Pop truck stops. However, it’s somewhat difficult to find them. I usually use Google Maps for navigation, and if I do a search for “truck stop,” it shows me all the gas stations that I can’t use. But if I search for “Love’s Travel Stop,” it only shows the Love’s along my route.
Personally, I would MUCH rather stop at the Mom and Pop truck stops for my meal and for my 10. They usually have the better restaurants; they’re usually easy to get in and out of, and they usually have big, open parking lots that aren’t crowded.
Trouble is, I can’t seem to find the Mom and Pop stops except for rare occasions. When I do find them, though, I make sure to save them in Maps for future stops.

If anyone would be so kind, I’d really like to have a list of good Mom and Pop truck stops; at least one truck stop for every state…at least every state outside of the Northeast. I don’t expect to find a large Mom and Pop truck stop in Rhode Island, lol.
