Kind of a long post but I’d appreciate anyone in the ltl industries input

So I’ve decided LTL is the way to go. I’m young(ish) and want to find somewhere to put my time in and have something to show for it. With that being said, I currently live about 4 hours from “home” and want to get back closer. I currently drive local(home every night) but want to move back towards home as my parents are getting older and I need to be around for other family as well. Have any of you ever transfered from one terminal to another? Are certain companies more likely to let you do something like this? Is there any stipulations about how long you’ve had to work there before being allowed to transfer? Figured someone here has done something like this. I appreciate any input and as always, stay safe out there drivers.
