The work is incredibly easy. Driving a manual makes it even better. Not having a manager breathing down my back is great. It’s just me. Just back-and-forth from the pit to the job making good money. I was hired the day after I got my CDL, which made finding a job easy everything just worked out for me great. I don’t understand why there is a trucker shortage in the trucking industry. Seriously the hardest part about the job was learning to back into the paver and controlling the box.
I’m officially a trucker. I can confirm I will be purchasing a truckers hat soon.
Edit: no Karens! Worked in customer service since I was 15 so this is great for me.
