Totally depends on what terminal you’re at, but in my opinion they treat drivers like shit. Just an overview of what happened to me while there.
-Terminal manager chewed me out because I got hired with a sign on bonus. And he thought it “wasn’t fair” unless I was beating everyone else’s mileage?!
-Another driver physically assaulted me because I got to our delivery on time and he was 30 min late, I was already in the door but he wanted to go first… like what? They never did shit about it, he later tried to come after me again at the terminal, they did nothing.
-Was supposed to roll on a Sunday but dispatcher wasn’t answering his calls/texts/emails/app, tried other depts etc, no response. And manager got mad at me for not “rolling anyway” with no load, no delivery, no contact from dispatch.
-And the final straw, I was gone on a 6 day vacation. Came back and my truck was missing. They had cleaned out all my shit and THREW IT OUT, and someone else was driving it. They never gave a reason except for their own “miscommunication.” When I gave them receipts for about $1200 worth of stuff (doesn’t include the other $1000 worth I didn’t have receipts for) they refused to pay me back in full and offered me $500. I accepted so I could take them to small claims for another $500. They refused to cut me a paper check and instead insist on using payroll. So the $500 comes through with… not just taxes deducted, but a bunch of other bogus line item deductions that they made up to deplete the payment and I get like $20.
Currently filed in small claims to try and get just a small amount for all my property. FUCK COWAN!
