Hi all! I applied to a company today through Indeed. I received a text message stating I will receive a call from them to go over job details. She literally called within 5 minutes after submitting the application on indeed.
However, when she called, the company was not the same name that was on indeed. I have heard of the company that she said the job was for and they also have a legit website. I’m aware that some legit companies use fake names on indeed in order to get more applicants due to the real company’s name having bad reviews and such.
During the call, she did go over the job details, asked typical questions about job history, driving history, etc., & sent me a link to intelliapp through a text message in order to complete the full app.
Additionally, she wants me to send a photo of the front and back of my CDL and medical card, and she stated that someone else will give me a call tomorrow in order to set up orientation arrangements.
It just seems like all of this happened super fast & sending the application link and pictures of my license and medical card through text message before orientation seems sketchy.
Is this a scam? Has this happened to any of you, and did it turn out to be a legitimate job?
