Just wondering if its normal for me to be in shop this much or is it bad equipment from company.
4 days in a row.
1st day, tire on trailer needed to be changed, i go to loves
2nd day, pick up a load and reefer starts giving me low coolant sensor, go to loves
3rd day, mudflap bar falls apart while driving, go back to loves
4th day, pick up a new trailer since last final was a drop, get to shipper and while being loaded i get reefer sensor, dispatch tells me to tell them to unload trailer, don’t go back to loves but thermoking instead.
5th day. heading home hear brakes start squeaking, will have to fix right after home time.

is this normal for OTR or is my companies equipment just shitty?

not to mention before this i had a incident where my mirror got taken off at a rest area, needed that truck towed for repairs, ended up picking up a recovery truck that ended up becoming mine but that previous truck had suspension problems, bad door seals, apu was also squeaking, lights were rly dim etc.

just wondering if this is normal since these trucks get driven a shit ton weekly or is my company or previous drivers not mentioning stuff to DMs? this has been overwhelming since im new and don’t want DOT to cite me for anything

i do pretrip everyday btw.
