Guess I’m gonna go kill myself after getting shit faced drunk. Trucking hasn’t brought any stability in my life. It’s just paid bills and never left me anything after that. I’ve lost a gf, 2 friends to suicide, and for what? 70 hour weeks. Tennis elbow in both arms, carpal tunnel in my hands and fucking negative settlements for a pos truck that breaks down damn bear weekly cus lease programs drop you with shit equipment being phased out.
I’m done. Fuck this industry, fuck this god damned country and how this industry preys on the entrepreneur. For all the shit we do and put up with we aren’t paid even 50% enough.
We’re high wage slaves inside a 2 seated prison cell with with a bed. We piss in bottles and often even have to shit in the truck. We get treated like we’re filth at most of these shippers and then told we’re the backbone of this country. We’re just too fucking stressed and busy to strike. We’re too lazy to demand respect and better pay. We deserve the shit treatment we get because we allow it. I’m done. Just fucking done with this industry.
