Just followed up with to the doctor today after falling victim to a “cardiac episode” that sent me to the ER a few days ago (I’m a 21 M btw). They stripped me of my medical card and said I won’t be able to drive commercially for the foreseeable future. I was all set up to go to trucking school in January and start my career, but now I can’t and have to put it on hold for who knows how long. Now I have to wear a heart monitor and see a cardiologist every month until I’m cleared. This just sucks man. I was finally ready to take the plunge and do something with my life, but now that opportunity is gone (at least for now). I’m not giving up though. I’m young and can handle this. I’m sure I’ll get out there on the road one day. Sorry, I just needed to vent. Thanks for coming to my TED talk 💙
