just as the title says, i want to become an owner-operator. i have been driving for years, tried all kinds of jobs and im at a point I want to drive for myself. the only endorsement i dont have is passenger for coach buses. im aware i could just google it, but im looking for real world suggestions, tips and guidance. im making decent money now, but im at a point where im just fed up with the management i keep ending up with. i have tons of experience driving and even was a branch manager at one point, so i have experience actually running the day to day operation of a trucking outfit.
im already aware that this isnt an overnight thing, will take lots of work and wont make me a millionaire. but just having the freedom of working myself and having my own truck would mean a lot to me. if i never have to get into another cascadia, that’ll be worth it all on its own.
