I have a minor medical issue to sort out before I start going down this path, I’m 30 and ready to leave my small town that only offers $10 hr jobs
I am a bit nervous especially about the backing part, and just learning the tricks of the trade that my trucking school might not teach me
Is the CDL A test the same nationwide? Or is there any variance from state to state? (Louisiana)…. because I’m trying to find a good online source as far as learning the written test and learning the pretrip part
Is there anything in particular you did in preparation that made school (and afterwards) a breeze?
I was considering getting a remote controlled toy tractor trailer for $30 just to practice the mechanics of backing
It’s something I’m taking seriously as a way to afford a better life for myself and family so any advice appreciated not only for passing school but info I need to know when I’m on my own
