Yes, you read that right.
So I just left Werner a few weeks ago. With them I had a 2022 international I named Ursula (big, blue, ugly, but cleans up good for an ugly chick). Company I went to issued me a 2022 Kenworth T680. Now, the KW is way more comfortable of a ride, and has a better seat, and the sleeper has better organization, including the factory fridge. That said, there’s features from Ursula that I very much miss.
Such as:
Controlling sleeper climate from the front.
Controlling radio from the sleeper. This kw has no radio controls in the sleeper, so when I shut down and watch TV on my phone that’s Bluetoothed to the truck, I just turn the radio volume all the way up and control phone volume output.
Auto start! Ursula had an awesome feature called auto start. Set that, and you have full accessory power, and when battery voltage started to get low it would start the engine and run about 30 minutes or so. This kw has nothing like that, so I end up just idling all night out of fear of dead batteries.
I know, first world problems. Problems I’ll likely forget about in a few months.
