So usually Love’s has the bigger discounts in my fuel network, and I like their points system, so I’ve just been going there without a second thought. I filled up at pilot and immediately noticed better MPG. I was wondering your opinions on if Love’s cuts ther fuel.
I just had to fly down to NOLA and pick up my other truck because driver couldn’t drive anymore. This truck has been getting shit fuel mileage in the past couple months, and I decided to take a couple loads in it to see what I could do about it.
First fuel up was a pilot because it was the closest and the truck was LOW on fuel. Truck was getting 5.5mpg on that fill up. Still not what it should be even pulling 43k, but better than the 4.6ish it was getting. Next stop was Love’s, because that’s my brand. I reset the trip meter, and truck got 4.7 on that fill. This got my wheels turning…
Next stop was when I had 5/8ths of a tank and was a Pilot again, and I’ve been getting 5.1mph on the mixed tank. This has me posting here now.
What do you guys think? Where do you fuel? Does Love’s cut/water down their fuel?
