Me personally I’m not a truck driver but my dad is here in the us, and at times I would accompany him on his truck this company would let me. One night as my dad and I were going through the mountains of Pennsylvania, we had seen some thing out of the corner of our eyes to the right of us.
As we got closer we both noticed that the guard rail was bent in words as if something had crashed into the ditch. Now of course this is common for long haul truckers to maybe see them off in the ditch so I thought nothing of it. That wasn’t until we got closer I was shocked onto what I had seen when we passed it.
Context the semi trucks are barreling down these hills at 65 mile an hour imagine what would happen if you came to a dead stop or this was what happened. It looked like the semi truck had fallen asleep at the wheel, had veered off onto the right side of the road into the ditch and smacked a tree at full speed.
The nose of the truck was literally in the driver seat it was that bad. Minutes after passing this truck we were both shocked at what we had seen. we had just both assumed that that guy probably is dead and didn’t make it or if he did the poor man is in critical condition, There is no way you survive that kind of impact.
