So last week I had $390.00 of lumper fees. My company loads the money onto my fuel card and I pay with that. On my paycheck, it shows a line called “lumpers” for $390.00 paid to me. Then under taxes it has a deduction “road advance” of $390.00. What I’m trying to figure out is this taxed as an advance on my paycheck? I’ve never dealt with lumpers before.
Since the $390.00 of lumper fees as part of my pay, will this also reflect on my w2 and make my income look substantially bigger than it actually is?
Also why can’t trucking companies pay their bills without having shit show up on my paycheck lol
