how difficult would it be for someone to successfully make a career out of trucking with no prior experience?

Hi all, I am planning to transition careers after years of dead end jobs. I have many years Driving for companies fromDOT certified armored trucks, to commercial vans and box trucks. No accidents! Finally want to take the leap and make something out of this. I am going to take my clp exam in December to give me enough room to study. so for someone who knows nothing about heavy trucks or driving manual transmission for that matter – how difficult would it be for someone like me to successfully make a career out of logistics and trucking?

Everyone has to start somewhere right? I am 30 years old if that matters.
