how difficult is it to swap inverters?

My company truck came pre-installed with a 1800 watt Freedom HF inverter, I run a desktop gaming pc out of my truck and that along with the other stuff in the truck flips the breaker, ive seen 3000 watt inverters at loves and I want one, however I also wanna be able to take it back out when the company gives me a new truck as mine is older in their fleet and likely to be replaced in a year. Is it simply unplug the old and install the new? The Freedom HF also has a panel by the bunk to reset it does that need to be changed out?
