hours splitting question

I’ve got to split my hours today (7/3 split) to make a 2:00 a.m. appointment in Atlanta. I currently have 3 hours, if I stop for 7 hours how many driving hours will I have after?

I regularly do 2/8 splits, but I don’t think I’ve ever successfully done an hour split where the sleeper berth portion comes before the shorter off duty period. I know that when I split it that way, I always have more drive hours after the long break than I did before I started the break, but I’ve never stopped to try to figure out where those hours come from.
