So I started driving solo locally this week on monday. Everything has been great, going into different cities downtown, tight turns and backing up in awkward spots. Until late last night I came to the parking lot where my company leaves its trucks and had to turn around. It’s a small lot and there were cars parked so I got close to the trucks parked and started making a U turn to set my self up. As I finish turning my trailer snags a old freight liner and rips off part of the hood damages the grille and one headlight. I am so utterly disappointed in myself as I’ve been so careful until the last few minutes of the last day of the week. I contacted the owner trying to figure out something in cash, as I’m still young and this would ruin my record and skyrocket insurance to where it wouldn’t make it worth it for my employer to keep me. Simply so upset that I don’t even know if I want to keep driving.
