Im contemplating going back on the road from being a local driver. Local is getting old for me i think traveling and touring the nastiest trucks stops is for me. I just want to know how is this “Freight Shortage” is affecting yall. Are you still sitting around for long periods of time? Im talking Dry van. I may do reefer if it means more constant work.
Ik this is a weird question to ask since every company has their own customers and freight lanes but I just want to know so I can get an idea when it may be time to make the move. I use to drive for werner(2020-2022)and it was ok until all of a sudden I was being lied to and sitting for hours just for a lousy 200 mile run.
