Hey can anybody help me understand these ELDT requirements. Specifically this behind-the-wheel training.

I already have my CDL I got it before the new ELDT requirements and I have over 3 years experience.

I want to upgrade with the hazmat, tanker, school bus, and passenger endorsements. I am in TX

I understand that I need this new ELDT course and have no problem doing that online portion, my question is with this whole behind the wheel section. What even is that? and am I required to actually find and pay this whole other provider for training B.T.W. that I really do not even need?
