Hello everyone! I will be going to CDL school next month and I have a few questions, when I do eventually get my CDL what kind of jobs or pay will I be looking at? I’m currently living in a rural part of Alabama making around $17,000-$20,000k a year. Will I be earning more than this with a CDL?

The school I will be attending only trains on automatics and is Mon-Thur. I need to stay at my current job so I can keep my truck I’m still making payments on, the school I wanted to attend trained on manuals but they are 200 miles away and I just can’t do that. Being married I can’t just drop all of my income and become a bum for over a month. What kind of jobs will I be looking at just coming out of CDL school?

And what are the do’s and dont’s? What should I avoid upon getting my CDL-A license ?
