Heavy Hauling?

I work for a asphalt paving company, been here for 11 months, and have been driving for that length of time. The higher ups have been talking about training me on hauling heavy equipment on the lowboy. I know it’s not all roses and daises, but any heavy haulers got any advice? It would be a significant raise ($21>> $28-30 an hour), and I’m looking at the money, but mainly expanding my skillset in the industry. I have some tractor trailer experience but half the time I’ve been in a straight truck/tanker and half in a 28′ foot TT. I know it’ll be challenging but do you think it would be worth while?
