Hello, for as long as I can remember I have been an introvert. I’ve always avoided talking to people whether it be in person or on the phone. I have managed to be semi-successful in Managment and Construction, but I’ve always hated dealing with people. The worst part is actually having to manage adults like their children. I’ve been able to make a comfortable living and construction management but I’m very burn out and time for a career change. I’m 45 years old and I’ve always been fascinated by trucking and truckers I was just always had it in my mind that you were gone for months at a time. I guess what I’m asking is this a good career move to go into for an introvert? There is a trucking school near me that says I can earn a CDL for $3700 in three weeks. Does that sound reasonable? Also I have no idea of what makes a good trucking companies and what benefits I should look for. Thank you guys in advance for any information. Stay safe out there.
