Getting M1( motorcycle license) endorsement while having Class A CDL in California process?

I have had my Class A CDL drivers license over a year now. I also have my “N” Tanker endorsement and also my “T” double and triples endorsement. I am currently trying to get my M1 endorsement and I’m looking for other people who have had to go through something similar so i know what to expect. I’ve been told by others that i may have to talk all my tests all over agan. Some told me i willonly have to take my class C again and the M1 tests. I’m just trying to find out before hand so im prepared. Im currently on the road and it’s a bit hard to make the time to go to the DMV while home because of all my other responsibilities. I just want to be prepared so when im home i can get it all done in one go. Thank you for you time reading this!
