Getting HAZMAT AFTER CDL (California)

Hoping someone can clarify the process for me in California.

1. **Take online ELDT Course (Pay)**

2. **After, take Hazmat endorsement test at DMV (Pay again).**

Am I missing anything here? Do I need to re-take any of the original permit tests at the same time? I don’t want to be surprised at the DMV again. I’ve had my CDL for about 2 month so far. I currently already have Tanker and D/T endorsements. Thanks.
