I get to the customer early for my appointment. Finally talk to the guy who is supposed to unload me at a big busy place and he’s been in a meeting for an hour before I speak with him. When I present my paperwork. He laughs and says sorry I can’t unload you tonight, I’m short handed and it’s going to be too late. I call the boss. Boss calls CS, they accept the charge and I’m over night at the shipper parked by the dock.
Company book says if my 10 resets those hours don’t count for detention.
Should I log in sleeper customer unload until I get unloaded in the morning or post trip, sleeper end of shift for 10 and pre trip before unload time?
