From what I’ve heard about fuel hauling, it seems like the general expectation from companies is that, hell or high water, you’re expected to go out to deliver. That said, have any of y’all ever shut the truck down due to weather? What was your experience with your company like doing so? Were they pissed or did they understand? I’m looking at getting into fuel hauling, but this has concerned me and I’d like to get your input on it.
I’m moving to Houston next month & so hurricane season is something I’ll have to deal with in the near future.
