Came to receiver and a worker told me to pull into a certain area, I thought to myself “this looks like an area to back in to,” but listened to them. Once in said area I truly realized how fucked I was. Started trying to back out but there were pallets and racks of material all around. Eventually the same worker came back out after watching me struggle to back out for about half an hour. He starts guiding me and eventually I ended up hitting this pallet. I didn’t hit a pallet while backing on my own the whole time, I was very close to them but never hit. I called it in to my company and they said I’ll be brought in for training on backing. Just my lucky week, and funny thing is the trainers during orientation all complimented my backing.
