Feel bad about quitting before peak season!!

I work for a pool distributor as a CDL B box truck delivery driver. I make $25/hr/ $52k base, Mon-Fri, 7am-4pm, paid lunch. 35 minutes from home. 300 hours of overtime a year.

I found a job working for a Townships Department of Public Works as a tandem truck driver. $60k base pay, Mon-Fri, 45 minutes away, teamster union.

I would love to start applying for other jobs especially the one above but the summer season is coming up and we only have 1 other driver who’s in his 60s. What would you guys do?
