Looking for tips and leads on jobs, companies in Alabama areas. I currently work at Western Express driving dry van, 3rd consecutive month as im writing this,. Have about 6 months local working at Lowes last year.
Came back to Western because Lowes flatbed size didnt meet 53′ requirements to count as trailer experience. Also currently in my first year of probation. Ive been told by companies most go off conviction date, makes sense. My incident date was top of 2019, then covid pushed my trial ( theft by postal officer btw) back to 2022????????, so now i have 5-7 years more of my life on hold as far as eligibility for most, if not all, good jobs. Im 28, single, no kids, and have lost all major things in my life due too my case. Ive applied to damn near all the big and small guys around, all i get is ” waiting to be reviewed” or flat out no!. Guys , not gonna lie, im very discouraged but not giving up as there is no point in quitting in this game of life, Ive made peace with my wrong doings and dont expect an easy life, as far as that goes, trying to get my life back on track. But if anyone has any new ideas or companies i can try, i would graciously appreciate it????. I know ill survive the wait but dammm. Where is all the opportunity!?
