I work for an LTL and my med card expires at the end of the month. I went in for the physical Wednesday and was super honest with the medication I take and everything. I didn’t want to hide anything. That backfired.

Medical examiner disqualified me since she said Trazodone is a no go (I use it to help me sleep). She wouldn’t even accept a letter from my doctor. She also said I can’t be taking antidepressants either (I take Zoloft). Further more she wants me to see a neurologist regarding a slight tremor in my left hand. She didn’t even give me a 3 month card or whatever to resolve all of this.

Anyway now my company is basically saying I’m not legal to drive anymore after the failed physical. This has been a huge headache. There’s no way I can see a neurologist before my card expires.

I just needed to rant.
