2022 freightliner m2 reefer. 000,248 miles.
Just finally cut the red tape, and Corp has decided that it is my responsibility. I really want to know what that 2nd little compressor is for as it’s not hooked up but it is belted to the clutch-driven fan?!?
My first tests didnt go well…
1: Very spongy brake pedal (water from sitting?)
2: ride height/ dock blocks (does NOT have airbags, only leaf springs, not dock height????)
3: unused auxiliary compressor (Why? Also the belt’s so loose I doubt it’d turn if it kicked on????)
4: “Drain Trench” in the box is almost 2 inches wide, it swallows the wheels of our electric pallet jacks. (Whats the box for then?????!)
5: Drivers front tire sprayer broken off of fender (sprays in towards engine????)
6: no auxiliary power supply (I’m required to use my work phone for my 11 hr shifts managing inventory between warehouses????)
7: Paint in multiple places is peeling off causing rust. Overspray on wiring/ plumbing/ emissions and so on.
So its parked again. Likely for months. Again. I dont know what to tell my company ????
