It’s like its all OTR teams with no guaranteed pay, and when a solo regional/dedicated or home daily position opens up I swear by the the time I’ll get an automated call or one from a recruiter and it’s gone.
Haven’t been working since July since my truck gave out and they didn’t have any more to get in and I’m getting desperate. Idk if my area sucks or what. I’m not even that excited about going back but the best job I could find since was one at 20 an hour working 40 hours a week, which isn’t very livable. I can get by but will basically live on ramen half the week but I’d be home daily. Just working nights in a call center vs 60-70 hour trucking weeks.
Last trucking job that was semi home daily was gonna pay 300 a day, but it’s food delivery, which I’m fine with unloading.. but they hold my checks for 4 weeks and the first week I’m paid is the 5th week. Which makes no fn sense. Oh but they can give me a loan during those weeks and I pay back with interest.
Everything fn sucks right now.
