Alright gentlemen this is the mess I got into. I started working for this company three weeks ago, I started noticing many red flags, like they didn’t give me a fuel card, truck had no ELD had to use paper log for 3 weeks.
They constantly wanted me to drive past my drive time, they didn’t understand 70/8 cycle so when I told them about the 34 hr reset they were surprised. Since I had no company card I had to pay for fuel, tolls, def, so I quickly ran up my credit card and when I asked for reimbursement it was hard for them just to reimburse me each time.
So finally this week I just decided to go ahead and start my own cargo van business. So I told her I’m done and on Friday when I get my payment from the previous week I didn’t get paid. And now it’s Tuesday and they still haven’t paid me for my Friday or the reimbursement. And my payment for this week for last week makes it two payments in total.
Where would I need to go to file a complaint? I’m just trying to get paid so I can move on and focus on my next step. Cause this is stressful and I never had this experience so any guidance is appreciated
