So I’m a recent graduate and got a job driving. However I need to drive for 145 hours with a trainer. So I’m stuck on the road for weeks. So every since i started I have barely had any drive time. Where some students are at their first 40 in a week or so I didn’t have any.
My trainer won’t let me do anything on my own and it is royaly passing me off. I have always aced my parking and driving skills. But he still micromanes me and then apologises for doing so.
But the main issue to this post is I have a question on our time. So I recently realized something is off or my understanding of it is not there.
Today he took over att 11:01. It is now 5:38. We just took a 30 min break roughly to eat. His whole clock reset to 8 hours. So he gets to drive another 8 and he definitely will.
We are headed a fair bit away and it’s pissing me off because I get no drive time. This is my 3rd week here with only 42 hours drive time and I was told I’d be back before the 25th and the 30th is my 9 year anniversary. I can understand missing it for this instance due to the job but am I missing something on the drive time clock?
How did his clock reset back to 8 hours I was under the assumption it only reset by a certain amount. Before we parked he had 4 hours left. Apparently I’m clueless so if someone can let me know so I better understand the drive time. Also nite the timezones we ran through have put back 2 hours.
