DOT Physical sleep apnea study question.

Hey whatsup everyone, about 3 months ago I got hired by my company upon hiring they sent me out to a clinic to get a DOT physical. I made the mistake of being too honest and when the doctor asked me if I snored I said “sometimes when it’s allergy season and my nose is stuffy”. Well with that info and my BMI being high she gave me a 3 month approval and told me I need to get tested for sleep apnea. The expiration date is coming up in a couple of weeks and I’ve tried to make a doctors appointment but I can’t get one till another couple of months. So my question is if I just went to another doctor and got a second physical done would that hold up? Or would they not accept it because I never got the sleep study done?

EDIT: So I went to another doctor and he gave me a 1 year approval!!! He said he would’ve gave me a 2 year but again my BMI is high. But hey 1 year is better than 3 months so I’ll take it lol. Thanks to everyone for the advice!
