Can anyone help explain this to me, first time CDL holder. I recently received a 1 year medical card about two months ago after getting a 3 month due to blood pressure issues. I finally found a job and had to go take another physical. This place didn’t do a physical like everyone else (kinda half ass) had done before. They checked my neck size for sleep apnea issues and said I was 1 inch over the required amount. I was right around the requirements for a 1 year again but they gave me a 3 month medical card and told me I have to do all this stuff at the doctors for blood pressure and get a sleep apnea test done. They said this new medical card trumps my old one I just got. Kinda upset with this because I literally just got done with all kind of medical work to get a 1 year and this place changed it.
Is my 1 year now invalid?
Do I turn this medical card into DDS?
If I go back to a different clinic and they give me another 1 year is it my new one?
Is it by law I have to get a sleep apnea test or is it just from this clinic?
