I rarely do this, in fact today was my first time but I’ve always told myself I would if I had too.
Had a load of tires so that alone already made the trailer way wider(thus a tighter backing )
Then the spot they assign is not only in a tiny yard but alll the way at the end. Which means I can’t set up for a sight side backing. It also meant I couldn’t even properly set up for a blind side backing. On top of that the two trailers it was between, one of them was dropped crooked. It was just too ridiculous. There was literally no way a sleeper cab with a 53 couldn’t get in there without doing any damage. So yes after trying for 20 minutes I stopped. Not ashamed.
Of course I’m not saying tk refuse every back and I understand some times there is no choice but in the instance where there is a choice. Don’t force it. A lot of these places will tell you to back in between a 6 foot wide space if you let them. Fuck them.
Here’s some pics I took of the spot

I know I’ll get plenty of ppl coming in saying they would’ve made it no problem.
