Do truckers come back to the same spot or never again?

So I recently started a new job as a gatekeeper for a trucking company. Well one day I was checking a trucker in and he asked for my number. I was under the assumption I’d have to see him often and if things went awry that wouldn’t be good, so I said no not wanting to mix work and romance. But later I was told by a coworker that not all truckers we see everyday?! So I’m just wondering if it’s possible that I see him again to exchange numbers. I don’t know anything about the guy other than he’s white and may be from Europe.
