Didn’t know where else to share, just thought this was really cool; I dispatch a bunch of owner operators, many of which are family or family friends. One of them splits detention pay with me. He claims that by doing so I would put more pressure on brokers and get more money than otherwise. And boy does it work.
Not that I take it half the time anyways, we both make good money so it’s not really needed. Just a very kind gesture. Not all dispatcher-driver relationships are bad.
