You can back 10 times perfectly in one shot, but on the 11th time it will take you 20 minutes and 5 different tries as if you’ve never backed in a day before in your life.
The shit is just plain hard sometimes, there is no trick. No trucking sim or app or video will teach you the feel of it.
Trying to “control” the throttle gently when your body is contorted in 3 opposite directions, with a fully jackknifed loaded trailer on a dirt yard with no traction in the middle of the night – all while endlessly rocking the truck left and right like a child’s first time on a gas pedal.
