So I got fired recently from my first trucking company. I have 2yrs experience and a clean record (other than this) I was pulled for a random, my dispatcher said to handle it the next day (he has told me to do the same on previous occasions with no problems) and the following morning I got a call from the safety man all pissed off telling me it’s a refusal and they fired me. I’m about to start the SAP program to be able to drive again and I’m just curious what my chances are getting hired once I have completed it.
I have never refused a drug screen. I don’t do drugs. And I’m a little curious if that counts as a refusal, or if doing anything other than taking it, no matter what anyone says, counts as a refusal regardless? I’d appreciate any advice given!
