Could someone clarify what affects this has on my license or the company I work for, please?

Stopped for “Failure to obey traffic control device,” because I passed a weight station. In my defense, I didn’t get any device signals. Nevertheless, got pulled over by dot, I did an inspection and got report paper but it’s not a citation. It shows the violation of why I got stopped which is “Failure to obey traffic control device,” however it’s not a citation. I wanted to know what effect that this would have on my license or the company that I work for. Should i pay any fine my company comes with?
