\- (Not sure if this is the right place to ask this, but please excuse me if it’s not)
\- I have been a long haul trucker for nearly 10 years, with about another 5 in the transportation industry before that, and another 2 to 3 in general delivery service. For the past 6 to 8 months my lower back pain has been increasingly becoming more severe and painful. Despite major lifestyle changes I have made in an attempt to combat this rising pain, between losing nearly 70+ pounds of weight, exercising daily, and eating healthy, it seems my pain is becoming worse and worse. I have been going to physical therapy and being seen by my primary care physician. They have taken an x-ray and they tell me everything looks fine on my lumbar. But this pain, it is horrid. I don’t know what to do, I am going to have to quit my job because it is so painful to sit down at all, and the pain either goes away if I stand upright (no bending over), or laying down. I don’t know if I need to apply to disability or workman’s comp, or what, but this is becoming a major lifestyle issue for me.
\- Any help or advice is greatly appreciated, thanks.
