Company wants to ” edit my logs” to make time for delivery…

Long story short at the end of my day my company called and asked if I could approve some log edits in order to make delivery same day. ( keep driving to make delivery).
I looked over my logs and told them they were 100% accurate. The dispatcher then started badmouthing me and hung up.
The safety department called shortly after and said that it was totally legal to edit my logs, and that I shouldn’t be concerned.

I know some of you veterans are going to say quit being a baby and keep driving.

What they’re asking me to do sounds extremely suspicious.

For the record no I did not edit my logs.
