Over the last year, I worked for a company that claimed “90% drop and hook,” but that wasn’t accurate.
What they did do, was send me the load with a default description “Live Load – N” but with a very specific appointment time of “14:00”…and sure enough, it would be a live load, and a live unload.
They’re just not detail oriented enough to change their default description of the load.
So if an outside auditor were to look at their load dispatch record, they can still claim that they’re “90% drop and hook” is an accurate statement.
This is just a reminder that recruiters will lie to you. So will dispatch.
