Colorado. I just tried to take the test to get my HAZMAT endorsement. DMV says I must complete a ELDT course first. Recommendations?

Apparently, Colorado started doing this in February. Before you can take any tests to get additional endorsements you have to have proof that you completed a approved “Entry Level Driver Training” program.

I got my CDL through a truck driving school 5 years ago but I did not get specific HAZMAT training. I tried to just take the test yesterday. Looks like AIMS community College has an online HAZMAT course for 150 bucks.

Anyone else from Colorado have to do this yet? Recommendations appreciated
