I was given a citation today. At a road side dot check I was singled out and the officer gave me a citation for;

-eld not in bracket
-driving over time limit
-driving over time limit

I do a long run for a contractor that carries mail. The run is very long – it takes between 9.5 and 10.5 hours. I have been doing this run for about 6 months now and it is my first citation.

I was only goven a piece of paper and told to give it to my boss – the officer probably could tell I hadn’t had many issues before.

How will this effect my license. The officer did not say anytjing to me about points or license suspension or anything like that. Just gave me one piece of paper that I signed and told me to give it to my boss
