I recently quit my long haul driving job, a month ago I was in an accident and received a careless driving ticket on top of it. My tire blew out and I swerved into a parked car, I received the ticket for not maintaining my tires as I should have been. My question is, is this going to hinder my job search a ton?? I have an interview for Monday. I also have less than a year driving under my belt. I live in OREGON. Any advice will help greatly.. I haven’t gotten any speeding tickets for a long time so careless driving along with an accident pretty much sums up my record.. I’m a very cautious driver usually and i really want to work for a trucking company.
